Description

Mefenamic acid 500 mg, in a 20-tablet presentation, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever. It belongs to a class of medications known as cyclooxygenase inhibitors. It is commonly used for menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea), but also for muscle, dental, postoperative, and postpartum pain.
