Gencatrol® is the Mexican brand of tramadol 50 mg, a centrally-acting analgesic indicated for the management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults. Each capsule contains tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg, and this presentation includes 60 capsules.

Tramadol binds to opioid receptors and also inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, producing analgesic effects. Treatment should be individualized; do not exceed the prescribed dose or combine with alcohol or other CNS depressants without medical supervision. Tramadol is a controlled medication in many jurisdictions, including Mexico. Consult your healthcare provider for appropriate dosing and duration of therapy.
